Meet Elsa, a not-so-ordinary intern at the Swedish Air Force Museum in Linköping. In fact, she’s a robot with a mind of her own. Built from spare parts, with a brand-new screen and an unexpected spark of independence, Elsa is figuring out who she is and what she wants to become.
But why does a robot need a backstory? How does a compelling narrative bring algorithms, technical functions, and artificial responses to life? And why is this especially important for children aged 7 to 12 — a time when imagination runs wild and the foundation for understanding the world is being built?
